How big are the largest ocean container ships in the world?

The Evergreen Marine company launched in June the largest container ship called Ever Alot.

The vessel has a capacity of 24,004 twenty-foot equivalent units. If it were stacked vertically, it would be taller than the Empire State Building in New York. The Ever Alot made its maiden voyage from Shanghai, where it was built, to the port of Rotterdam in August, becoming the first ship to break the 24,000 TEU barrier.
