TL PACÍFICO and CTS develop new route from Houston to Chile

TL Pacífico Group, together with its sister company CTS, developed a new export route from Houston, USA to San Antonio, Chile via the Lázaro Cárdenas Port.

The container HLBU3146272 set sail on the MANZANILLO EXPRESS ship on February 3 with a transit time of 16 days, achieving a shorter time than the current existing route crossing the Panama Canal with a duration of 35 days; successfully achieving the road test with a saving of up to 19 transit days.

Jaime M. Vélez, CEO of TL Pacífico Group, was the promoter of said test, which is planned to be carried out several times in order to validate its efficiency and speed with all the parties involved: CP / KCS, HPL, GRUPO 365 and HPH LZC ; once it is perfected, it is expected that the route will be permanent and generate a great benefit for the economy of the Mexican country.
