Mexico will overcome the barrier of 8 million TEUs in 2022

Mexico is about to exceed 8 million containers operated in seaports in 2022, if the trend that has occurred during the first nine months continues, according to data from the Secretary of the Navy (Semar).

From January to September 2022, Mexican ports have handled 6,209,328 20-foot containers (TEU), 7.3% more than the same period last year (with 5,785,936 TEU).
